stuck-up!

Introduction
The party scene kind of exists. It took a while to find. It’s nothing like a state school or anything. It doesn’t come close to anything like CU, but it’s okay. We have a good time. There really isn’t that much to do. The cops are really bad here. They’re all about breaking everything up as quick as possible.
The School spirit at Tufts is pretty horrendous, it’s absolutely horrendous, actually, which is a shame because people would get so much more into this school if school spirit was a lot higher.

Campus Life and Social Life
The president now, Bacchau, doesn’t agree with the whole Greek system so that make it a little difficult in terms of he’s trying to shut that down.

The big difference that I found was the people, more towards the west they’re so much nicer and outgoing and they’re just better. And here, everybody around the east coast, not just Boston, but all over the East Coast, it’s just very pushy and people are assholes, so I found that to be a really hard tradition when I came here.

So my freshman year, I was pretty miserable and I had to do something to kind of meet people or, I don’t really know, so just to keep myself occupied because I had nothing to do so I joined a fraternity, but I don’t like it. It’s not my cup of tea. Academics
Living off-campus at Tufts it’s pretty bad. I mean, the dorms aren’t much better just because they don’t have nice dorms here. There are a lot of schools that don’t have nice dorms but there are a lot of schools that do and for the amount of money we pay to come here, you would think they would have nicer things, but it’s nice just because you have a house rather than a little dorm room.

There’s such a demand for the housing that the landlords know they don’t need to keep anything up. So like the house I’m living in now is a mess. So the landlords don’t keep the houses up and then they can also charge you. They charge you an arm and a leg to live there because they know the demand’s so high. They know that people will pay it.

Student Body
We got a lot of good looking folks in there. That’s why I joined it at first was to kind of meet some of the lady friends here on the campus, and it worked out pretty well.
My least favorite thing: definitely the majority of the people here. They just have an attitude problem, most of them are Massholes. Assholes are from New York and New York people are just as pushy. They just suck. And you don’t want to hang out with them and so that’s what I would say the worst aspect of Tufts is the majority of the people.

In Closing...
Whatever you forte is, if you want to do it, I’m sure there is something at Tufts and if there isn’t then you can find a group of people, I don’t know what the minimum number of members has to be but you can petition to become a recognized club by the Tufts Treasury and by the Tufts Administration.

The Jumbos and school spirit, really bad.
