U of A: PARTY PARTY PARTY.

Rating: 4/5 (4 ratings)
Introduction
first of all...U of A is an extremely easy school to get into. I love it here. I went to a private school and had a 2.8 and low SAT and ACT scores...Well, I got in to U of A. The weather here is gorgeous. Doors are small and look like prisons. TA are okay. Night life is AMAZING!!! All freshman have to go to Mexico at least once their freshman year..It's the thing to do. I chose U of A because of the hot weather (I came from South Dakota..brrr). And the academics are pretty good, particularily engineering.

Campus Life and Social Life
Clubs...not so popular, though there are many to choose from if you dont like the whole partying scene. U of A basketball is fun to watch, and we usually do pretty well. Other sports..mmm...not so much! Parties are HUGE here. Frat parties....pool parties...house parties...you name it. I usually can find a party every night of the week (even Mondays.). Theres even parties during finals. Doom parties are fun with your wing or floor. Watch out for the RAs, even though they arent that strict.

Academics
Engineering has the most workload and most studying. I'm in Journalism and I would say most majors study a few hours a night..not too bad. Pretty managable. Greek life is great here, thats where i met most of my friends and find the most parties. SISTAS FO LIFEE! hhaha anyways, TAs are okay. Professors are pretty accessable with email and TAs can help tutor..

Student Body
We are pretty diverse here at the U of A. A lot of native americans...locals...abroaders (as we call them, ha)
Very diverse campus...makes us unique.
But then again, there are many short, skinny blondes walking around like carbon copies. So it depends on how you look at it.

In Closing...
I LOVE THE U OF A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm going to miss it :[
(im graduating and moving back home for more edu)
