UC DAVIS

Introduction
Davis is a great place to come if you are a person who wants to do well in school but also have a great time. It is a college town with a very fun atmosphere I feel like I'm in the movie old school or varsity blues when Im here. If your not a very smart person who doesnt get very good grades then you should find another school. Also if your uptight and materialistic you might want to look somewhere else because the kids at UC Davis are very "chill" and dont really like snobbie people.

Campus Life and Social Life
The best aspect of the social life is the great parties, annual events such as picnic day and the epic quad battle, and going to the football games. The downside is the school, school here is kind of tough and you do have to study and do homework. Weekends are usually, frat party friday night, trip to San Francisco or Sacramento Saturday, Bars or Local Party Saturday night, Breakfast at crepeville sunday morning, then homework/study all sunday. Academics
Our Academics are very good here, were number 1 in the world for viticulture (the science of wine), veteranarian studies, and agriculture is very good too. All of our social sciences and humanities rock and math and engineering departments are pretty good. TA's are great because our grad schools are so good and the professors are ok. The classes are very hard but the workload isnt that bad. I mean its college we dont really have homework even though thats the synonym i use for studying.

Student Body
The students here are awesome, I'm from LA and its such a big change because everyone here is so nice. It is a common occurence for people to come up to you say hello and ask you what your name is, or ask if they can sit with you in the cafeteria. In LA you dont talk to people you dont know and nobody knows their neighbors, Davis is the exact opposite.

In Closing...
This year at UC Davis we have broken 2 "Guiness Book of World Records" Records, we usually break atleast 1 or 2 a year so if you want to secure a world record and arent planning on entering the olympics this might be your best option
