Not really a party school

Rating: 4/5 (32 ratings)
Introduction
If you want to go to a party you could find one. But whenever I walk around on campus at night it’s pretty dead. And I think part of the reason for that is most of the places here don’t open late and just I guess we need a hangout place and it’s pretty dead yeah.

Campus Life and Social Life
I don’t think people are pressured to join Greek life here. Since you don’t see that much advertisement. Only advertisement on just our main walk, which is called library walk. School spirit sucks here. I remember one time I was trying to join the spirit club here on campus and then I talked to my friend and he was like, what spirit. There’s no spirit. So I just decided not to join.

Academics
I’m taking a dance class right now it’s called dance improvisation and it’s really fun too. In that class basically the teacher teaches you a couple of like techniques like rolling, turnings. Well she just plays music and you just do your own stuff and you just do improvisation, whatever you want. do think all professors want to teach and they want to be good teachers, but I think their main objective is probably research. Their number 1 priority is probably research and no. 2 priority is teaching. I do know we have 8 Nobel Prize professors on campus here.

Student Body
I met most of my suitemates during orientation, so we just requested each other and we’re getting along pretty well right now.

In Closing...
The food’s edible, but I get tired of it so I just go to the price center here on campus. You can’t use your meal plan as the Price Center, but you could accept a Triton Plus account and just add in money on card and just swipe it every time you buy food. Restaurants they’re like the same prices as anywhere else. There’s like PF Chiang, go to like steakhouse like Donovan’s, Rock Bottom, it’s just like anywhere else.
