Football Insanity
IntroductionFootball is in-SANE. The first football game I went to was against Georgia Southern and I was just like, astonished like the stadium was absolutely full and everyone was cheering. I don’t like football but I loved being there. It was wonderful. The streets were crowded with just drunk people everywhere no lie, there was people laying in the lawn, drunk, bottles of beer everywhere. It was insane but, definitely a shocker. But, you get used to it.
Campus Life and Social LifeI have to admit it’s very clique-ish, you have, of course Greek life, and you have your athletes football players, your basketball players your cheerleaders you dancers – I’m a dancer – to me it just like high school but then you know every once in a while the groups break up and you’re all one but it’s very clique-ey.
AcademicsInitially my major was genetics and Chemistry – that’s why I changed my major so soon but I’m psychology now and I love it and I’m really excited about hopefully going to law school. Procrastination: first semester that threw me off. Definitely know how to balance it. Your schoolwork comes first – that’s why you’re here – it’s good to have fun but you cant let your friends or peer pressure get to you cause then you’ll end up hopeless and that’s not a good thing. One of the main reasons I chose Georgia is because they have a wide range of majors like there’s so many majors it’s ridiculous – genetics, biology, food, anything you could possibly think of it’s here at UGA.
Student BodyI don’t drink but – easy access – you can get it anywhere; you don’t have to be of age. It’s crazy, but the social life is great – you have to know how to balance everything. Usually my friends and I hangout downtown; Insomnia, 346, Tastyworld, you just have to know how to balance everything out.
In Closing...We have campus transit – the bus comes every 10 – 15 minuets, riding your bike, you see people roller blade-ing also – a great way to stay fit.
