COME TO MARYLAND

Introduction
Be friendly, its a big school, and you have so many opportunities, but you need to get yourself out there! Its a beautiful campus, and it provides so many opportunities to all types of students. There is good food at the dining halls, a state of the art gym, great professors, an awesome social scene and TA's and all around great people! I recommend this school 100%

Campus Life and Social Life
There is always something to do on campus. If you dont feel like going out for a night, you can always find someone around to hang out and watch a movie with. If you feel like getting out, then theres always a party around that you can find. Weekends -usually partying and sport games. The best part of campus life is the great friends you meet, and mens basketball!! Some great musicians have visited the school as well as comedians and lecturers. There are also cheap movies offered at the Hoff, the campus movie theatre. You can always find something to do. Advertisement
Academics
Some professors have heavy foreign accents and are hard to understand, espically in the math department. History department professors have been great. Classes are easy if you do your work, and professors tend to give large curves. If you dont care, then you're grades will show.

Student Body
There's a diverse population, students from my dorm come from places ranging from New York, Chicago, Connecticut, Massachusettes, Georgia, etc. There are plenty of cultural clubs to get yourself involved in. You can find people that share your interests without a problem at a school this big.
