Let's go hang out!!

Rating: 5/5 (42 ratings)
Introduction
There are tons of club activities and there’s always some places on the web where you can check out all the different clubs and they have something for everybody it seems.

Campus Life and Social Life
Our usual game plan is to hang out in the dorms till about 10, 10:30 and then just go out and walk to 3 or 4 different parties in one night. Don’t even have to know the people, just walk up to 'em and buy a cup and hang out and see all kinds of people.
Academics
I probably don’t study as much as I should but I get in a fair amount, my grades are all right so as long as those stay OK, I’ll just skim by I guess. If I have a test, I’ll study maybe an hour each subject but other than that I don’t really study at all. I kind of slack but I get all A’s and B’s. So maybe I’m just good at what I do, I don’t know, maybe I’m lucky.

Student Body
People are extremely friendly, especially at the beginning of the year. I kind of lucked out, I think because I’m from Massachusetts, so I knew about 10, 15 people here and sort of meshed with their friends. But I made plenty of my own friends. They’re great. A lot of fun!

In Closing...
Favorite thing about U MASS? Probably the party scene. Because the fact that I can just not worry about anything, go out at 10:30/11 o’clock smashed, and just find 5 or 6 things to do, come back at 3 or 4 in the morning and tons of people are still up. My least favorite thing is probably the campus size actually. Like I said, the busses aren’t convenient at all so if you have to walk 25 minuets sometimes toward the end of a semester, you’re sort of like, I really don’t want to make this walk right now.
