Amazing

Introduction
The University of Miami is an amazing school that perfectly combines high academia with partying! Keep in mind that you can't get too caught up in the action, otherwise you won't be sticking around for all four years. If you can take full advantage of the University, and the fact that you are living in Miami, you are sure to be very successful. Both the school and the city, combined, can offer you a multitude of internships, jobs and many other opportunities!

Campus Life and Social Life
Great ambience, weather, clubs, surrounding cities and entertainment. Lively campus at all times of the day/night. Full attendance at the football games because of the high school spirit.

The traffic is annoying, depending on the time of the day you drive around. But you won't have to worry about that your first year(s) because most freshmen live on campus and don't deal with morning traffic. Academics
Great level of academics, but also hard. You will have at least one class which you study extremely hard for and still don't make the grade you feel you deserve. However, its all part of being challenged properly and learning.

Student Body
We have a very diverse school. You are sure to meet kids from all over the country, not to mention the world. The typical student at UM is hardworking, but laidback. Also, able to make proper decisions. For example, while visiting Club Richter (the Richter Library) you know how to hide yourself at certain times so you can get your work done. Then you come out at certain times to have some fun. Fun in the library, you wonder? Yes it is! Especially when its open 24/7 during finals weeks.

In Closing...
I would not change my mind looking back in the past. I think UM is a great school! Close to Coconut Grove and South Beach. I can party like a rockstar. I also know I'm getting a great education and will be a great doctor one day!
