A WORLD-WIDE REP
IntroductionI am an anthropology major from Evanston, Ill. I'm a junior.
Campus Life and Social LifeThe bars, they’re so many different bars you can go to depending on your taste. You can go dancing, you can go just to chill and have fun with friends. There’s sort of a club scene place. Pretty much something for everybody.
Usually you start out going to the frats because that’s where all the girls go, if you’re a girl. It’s kind of hard to get in if you are a guy. But then you make more friends. You find people who live in houses and you get to go to frat parties and that’s of course way cooler than frats.
A typical frat guy, you can pick ‘em out of the crowd so easily. Same with the sorority girls--they all look exactly the same. I don’t want to drop some labels here, but they all wear Abercrombie, they think they’re the greatest thing in the world. Don’t mess around with them. You’ll get into trouble in other words.

AcademicsMy freshman year and my sophomore year I was able to take a few classes that were really small, and that was really nice because I actually got to make friends and know the professor. I took a lot of large classes that despite what people say is really nice because you get to be more anonymous. So kind of the mix of the two is really, really nice.
Student BodyIt’s incredible. The school spirit, you can walk around the campus and see probably the majority of people wearing yellow and blue somewhere on their body. Some people are completely decked out in Michigan gear totally and people just love this school. Almost everyone just loves this school so much. The spirit’s really strong.
In Closing...I’ve traveled all around the world and I’ve always, always, always run into somebody who knows Michigan, has been here, had a Michigan sweatshirt on, you know its just everywhere. Everywhere I go I love to say I’m from Michigan.
