BIG CAMPUS, NO PARKING

Rating: 4/5 (29 ratings)
Introduction
I’m a fourth year senior, from Detroit, my major is psychology.

Campus Life and Social Life
There are a lot of diehard football fans at the school. On game day you can pretty much find a sea of maize and blue walking down the street. From State street to the union, pretty much all the way to the stadium.

Academics
LSA is one of the departments that Michigan is known for. Because in LSA you have psychology, sociology, English, math, pre-law, pre- med.

Most of the students at U of M know that the school of engineering has a harder or larger workload. It typically takes about 5 years for school of engineering students to graduate.
Students in engineering typically call LS&A, LS and play.

Student Body
Greek life is pretty popular here. A student who is somewhat shy maybe introverted might not fit in as well. As large as it is… everybody on campus is pretty much connected.

In Closing...
One downside is definitely a lack of parking on campus. However if you’re coming from off campus you either have to commute or take a bus. The University has its own bus and transportation system. Bersey is the second largest dorm in the United States. To commute from central campus to north campus you have to take a bus. It’s about a 6 minute bus ride.
