Freshman @ MU

Introduction
If you are from a KS school....there aren't many of us. Get involved early! I chose MU for the scholarships and opportunities. If you're doing any type of science, DO UNDERGRAD RESEARCH! If you like big cities....CoMo is not the place. Although there are almost 30, 000 students, once you're off campus...that's about it.

Campus Life and Social Life
Parties every weekend...we suck at football and sometimes at basketball except when home with KU(boo). Advertisement
Academics
Science dept. is GREAT. Many opportunities....get involved. Workload isn't horrible. Professors are there, just gotta go to them.

Student Body
Pretty diverse...you won't be the only minority. Since we are really known for our J-School, people come from far and wide for it.
