Review

Introduction
Its a great place... the city is a blast and the kids are great. Academically its a very enriching environment. I would definately check it out.

Campus Life and Social Life
Best social and campus life is being Greek... its so much fun and it makes the campus feel a bit smaller. There are a bunch of sororities and fraternities to choose from. There are a lot of fraternity parties which can be fun. The bar scene in Oakland is also pretty big. There is always something to do on weekends, parties, events, going to southside... Academics
Lots of classes and departments to choose from... the economics dept is great. I am not a fan of the biology or chemistry dept.. there are a lot of professors in those departments that care more about research than teaching. Workload isnt bad, but you have to manage it and not blow it off until finals week. TAs are pretty good and its a plus if they speak english.

Student Body
A lot of PA students, but I have found more and more out of staters. Students are easy going, into having a good time, getting work done and community service

In Closing...
Its a great place... it provides an excellent balance of academics and a great social environment.
