Cheap Tuition

Introduction
The University of South Florida is like no other school in Florida. USF not only has the cheapest Tuition in the state (which will make your folks happy) Everything is availible at this school. If you are an academic, USF has tons of majors, minors, and you can even create your own major! or do two at one time and graduate in four years! USF also offers great study abroad programs as well as semester and year exchanges where you can go to any university in the United States, pay USF tution and the same housing costs, and go to any university (Alabama, NYU, Harvard, UCLA, etc) for a year or semester!
For the student who likes to relax or is more artistic, USF has an Excellent music school, art school, and has its own Federal and the only student run Art Museum in Florida. Tampa has many museums just a short car ride away. The campus has a beautiful tropical atmosphere with palm trees and open walkways lined with exotic flowers. Classes are often held outside, and typically if you ask an instructor they will be more than happy to move the class outside, unless its a science lab.
For those who love to party hard, Tampa and USF is your spot. Football games are FREE (not like the other Big Schools which we wont name) All USF students get in ANY atheletic EVENT FREE with a USF ID card. ID's also get great discounts to big name preformances such as Usher, Bill Cosby, Tim McGraw, Dave Matthews, and more just for being a USF Student. But the party doesnt stop on campus, Busch Gardens is not even 5 mins. away! You can see the rollacosters from the library!

Campus Life and Social Life
Campus has brand new housing that has been rennovated in the last 5 years as well as brand new buildings and greek houses which we contructed in the past 2 years. Housing is availible in single suites, doubles, shared bathrooms, single bathrooms, apartments (2,3,4 roommates) and coed or single sex housing and so much more! Advertisement
Academics
Budwiser also has a plant next to Busch Gargdens and offers students free rides home if you go to the Ybor City, SoHo, or Hyde Park. Ybor is Tampa's original Burbon Street! Lines of Hot Clubs and Bars, Comedy Clubs, Flashy Resturants, and is the home of the Gasparilla, St. Patricks Day and Gwavaween Parades! Take about 3 Mardi Gras a Year! SoHo and Hyde Park are a classy upscale part of town where the salsa music flows and martini bars flourish.

Student Body
If you dont fit into any of those catagories and love the out doors, USF is still for you! USF is surrounded by protected wetlands. USF's outdoor recreation center has midnight canoeing on the river where you can see real aligators! Rock Climbing gyms are a short ride away, the Beach and Bay are a short trip down the road, as well as many beautiful parks and USF has its very own Botanical Gardens on its Tampa Campus! As a student you get a free plot in the gardens if you want to grow flowers, fruits or veggies!
