USC rocks the school spirit

Introduction
Get about a 4.0, sports and musical talents look good. This school likes multifaceted students who will contribute to the school's success. If anyone in your family went here, make that known.

Campus Life and Social Life
Excellent parties- really fun, frat row is always entertaining with theme parties (also suprisingly safe and right across the street! Great way to meet friends), Downtown LA is like 5 min away- with staples center and LA live. Hollywood also is close. Sports are awesome (go Trojans!), excellent school spirit. You will def have a great social life on this campus! BUT FYI- USC is not in the safest area of LA! Very sketchy! Use common scence and dont walk around alone at night you will be fine. Advertisement
Academics
Film school and Business school are most known, followed by the engineering and communications/ journalism. Very well respected overall in all programs.

Student Body
Almost all of students are rich and from well off families (tuition IS high) which makes for great networking opportunities but you will find that USC does admit some students who are 1st in their family to go to college which is nice too. You will meet people from all over the spectrum. Lots of good looking people, which is rare on a school that is so academically reknowned- not everyone looks like revenge of the nerds, although there are some. Lots of jocks, and LA types but there is LOTS of diversity and differnt ethnic groups.

In Closing...
Great school if you want to be in LA. Far from beach and in a pretty crappy area and about 45 min from beach(although efforts are going to clean up downtown) Bring a car! And be strong willed because you will have to balance academics with very inticing social activities!
