Fun, Fun, Fun...

Introduction
Southern Miss is a really fun place: the campus is not too big or too small. Students can be crazy, fun or nice. Football season is the best time to party. Then, everybody gets crazy about football and it's time to have fun no matter what. Assholes, sick people or people that don't want to have fun and go to a good school at the same time should stay away from Southern Miss. Go Eagles!!!

Campus Life and Social Life
Campus life is really good here. Most of the kids like to meet new friends, party, play sports or go and work out at the Payne Center. The best day to go out to clubs or partying is Thursday or whenever the frat-houses have parties because you can go to every house if you want to check the parties out and find the best place to stay the rest of the night. You can find what you want: hot girls/guys, crazy parties, nice girls/guys, different music. The worst time at Southern Miss is when you don't see that many people around. For example, Sundays suck because of that so it's better to do homework and study on Sundays. Or if you want you can go to the beach just one hour away, or the cool city of New Orleans. Advertisement
Academics
The Business Department is the biggest one here at Southern Miss. The worst professors are probably in the English, Economics, and Business Law fields. Music is a really great department, and the bands are really good: last year they played with Placido Domingo and everybody was impressed with the entire department. The classes here overall are pretty tough and sometimes it's worse if you have a hard major.

Student Body
We have every kind of student here. The kids who study most of the time, those that study sometimes, people that only party, people that only hang out, people that live in the clubs, or those that you see on campus and you wonder who they are...
