Amazing Madison

Introduction
Wow, when considering why someone should come here, its only obvious. Madison is an amazing city, with so much to offer. The university is incredible. Not only is everyone smart as hell, they also know how to have a good time and party! The badger sports have more spirt then any other, and there is just a sense of pride. A totally amazing school to learn at, and a huge social party scene. I choose it just to get away from Oregon, and because it was a good school, and a fun environment. I never understood just HOW good the school really is. Wow. When considering this school, remember you have to balance work and play. Most here do, and do it damn well. If your ready to be surrounded by brillant party sports fanatics, come to Mad-Town!

Campus Life and Social Life
The best thing is that there is always something to do here. From clubs, sports, to groups, to parties, Madison is never boring. Weekends here start Thursday night and go till Sunday. When there is a football game, we party even harder. Starting the night before, we party: all Friday night, Saturday before the game, during the game, and way after the game. Win or lose, we still celebrate! Another great thing is the "5th quarter" of the football game. All the Wisconsin fans cheer and dance in the stands as the band dominates the field for another entire quarter. Whether we win or lose! The greek life is also another great aspect here. It is very active, but not too dominating. This is TOTALLY a party school, but damn is everyone here smart too! Advertisement
Academics
The academics are outstanding! Political science, business, and the biocore program are amazing. But so are the other departments. The professors are there to teach you, and the TAs do pretty good at helping you succeed and working with you. This place suprised me with how brillant and dedicated the students are.

Student Body
The typical student is from the midwest, but also quite a few from the east coast, and some from the west. There is a mix, but not a huge diversity. The students here are really into the university...Badger athletics, groups, activities, you name it, we do it. Fun is a given here. Basically, a UW student is a smart, hardworking student, who knows how to study all week, and party hard all weekend.
