Introduction
I don’t think there’s a lot of diversity here but art the same time cause its 92 percent white, however there’s more diversity than you think it would like in some of your classes, you’d be surprised. It doesn’t actually seem that much but statistics tell otherwise.

Campus Life and Social Life
The schools enormous so it has pretty much any activity you want to get involved in that you can get involved in – I myself – and it actually does a good job of reaching you as well, cause its such a big school – there’s always club meetings at the union and that’s where I got involved in writing for the school newspaper, the daily cardinal and joining the Wisconsin Film Directorate.

You have two options of classes you can take here – you can take regular class or you can take an online class and I’ve taken several online classes you can take – right now I’m in folklore which is the history and folk tradition of Wisconsin and satisfies my ethnic requirement – because if you want to get a degree than you have to satisfy a lot of different requirements so I choose to take an online class.

In terms of lectures it’s not absolutely necessary that you go however you’d probably want to go to a lot of discussions because they cover a lot of the material discussed in a lecture and it helps you out much more. Advertisement
Academics
I have – my professors I don’t know as well because its and enormous school and its informal in that sense, however I have really great TA’s now – my TA’s are completely catered to all of their discussion needs and if I needed anything or if I needed to talk or needed to review a paper or anything like that I could probably go to them at any point and make an appointment.

Student Body
Last year I still lived off campus but it was in a private housing complex – Wisconsin’s I think one of the only schools that offers that – it’s still a dorm – its not anymore they just redid it and its like, it ridiculous now in term of how nice it is – but at the same time you still get the dorm feel and the dorm atmosphere.

In terms of location it really didn’t matter that much because its right near the building where I’m living right now – I still like living in a building way more than I like living in a dorm, just because I feel like dorms is a one time freshman experience as you get a lot more freedom and you learn to live on your own a lot more in the apartment complexes.

In Closing...
Football in Wisconsin is like a state of mind. Everybody before the game usually drinks despite the fact that we’ve gone out the night before – and like everybody walk over to Camp Randall which is like another party when you get there and its like – anytime you go to a football game in a Big 10 school it – when the football games on, the town doesn’t care about anything else.
