Utah Valley
IntroductionUtah Valley is a fun school, and it's not like BYU or U of U. If you're not the brightest and not totally for the religion thing, then this school is for you. Don't take college as a vacation, though: UVSC is a real school so treat it as one. The teachers are very willing to help you and I found most of them to be awesome people. They are also young recent graduates, so they know what you're going through as an undergrad.
Campus Life and Social LifeEveryone in the Valley knows that UVSC dances are the best. However, the rest of the social scene sucks. No one goes to basketball games or anything. The dances are pretty much the only thing going for UVSC right now. When they go to university in the next few years, I bet more students will get active in the campus life there. Student life here seems pretty good, but you probably want to live in one of the nearby apartments to get into that.

AcademicsAcademically, this school is still working on its image. Most classes are like high school, so why complain? The Math Department is probably the worst at the school, unless you really like Math. Most of the teachers there hardly speak English, so it's hard to learn anything in the lectures. One good thing about the Math Department, though, is that it offers very lenient teachers when it comes to grading.
Student BodyThe typical student here is from Utah and working on grades so they can go to another school (probably BYU). They are very Utahan.
In Closing...I hope this school can shape up in the next few years. Then it could be a very cool school in Utah.
