Introduction
I got to learn a lot about what’s going on in terms of service on campus and it’s a lot. It’s a very involved place. I think it’s a big part of a lot of people’s sort of just life at Yale. Just in terms of community service and activism.

Campus Life and Social Life
I think either you’re in a very serious, committed relationship or you’re not. So there’s not that much in-between that goes on. It’s kind of nice actually because if you’re not into the dating thing, then you don’t have to feel ridiculous about not doing in, because I find it a little silly, so it’s easier to just not deal with that now. There are time when you’re like, nothing is going on, but as you get older, you find yourself going less and less kind of like dorm room parties.

Academics
The architecture major is pretty unique. There are about 50 of us total, you actually have to apply to get in at the end of your sophomore year based on some prerequisite classes and it’s been getting pretty competitive in the past few years. Professors are good, they’re fun, it’s kind of relaxed in general. I mean we do our projects but it’s so small that you’re professors are kind of relaxed. It’s not the normal professor relationship that I’ve had at Yale. When we finished our project the other day, we all kind of like ripped open a 12 pack with our professors and kind of relaxed a little. It’s very kind of personal like that.

Student Body
through various clubs and jobs that you have. I would say it’s less preppy than what I had imagined. You can kind of tell certain majors, like English majors or in my case architecture majors, they have a certain twist to the way, they’ll dress sometime. You’ll see kids walking around in business suits and stuff, but they’re all interviewing for something probably Future Investment Bankers of America. I think as you get older and start to get into like your major, you actually become a nerd yourself, even if you don’t think you are.

In Closing...
Just in general what I’ve seen and what you have access to in terms of the alumni network , the people have organized it really well in that, there’s a lot of outreach and that if you’re looking to do something say after graduation, it’s a great place to start. I think that’s a really important thing to a lot of people who’ve gone to Yale actually, that they feel this sense of being apart of it so much longer after they’ve even gone here.
