This is a demo of a 2006 Georgia Tech Senior Design project. It's not as impressive as some of the other examples of this, but this show runs stand-alone (without a computer) and features all custom designed hardware.
All the hardware for this project was designed and built by Elliott Wood, Eric Southard, Kevin Cook, and Jonathan Torrell.
This is the demo using ATLiens, with the dimming threshold feature enabled. It was cobbled together at 3am on Wednesday night of finals week, and the lights were strung up just an hour or so after we realized it was actually working. (Hence the disorganized patterns and appearance.)
