Description:
This is one of the best made student films I have come across. The Chapman student who made it has obvious talent, but film-making, like any other art, must be learned, so that the quality of this flick is due at least in part to the professors who have instructed him. It's basically a short version of "Taxi Driver," and gives due credit to the fact by having clips of it, as well as beginning with the attack on Ronald Reagan by John Hinckley, who said he did it to attract Jodie Foster. But the movie isn't so much based on "Taxi Driver" as it is a new story about the influence of "Taxi Driver" on a man already near his wits end. To bad there isn't the terribly violent scene at the end, that "Suck on this..." stuff is cool.
