Trippin' on Hanson

(Before making a movie about tripping out, perhaps you should spend some time tripping out)

This is an art project I did for my Beginning Electronic Media class shot with a Sony DV cassette handheld camcorder. Before we began shooting the class had to decide on five conditions the video had to fulfill. The parameters were:

-Alter speed and/or movement at least five times

-Reference a particular colour (red in my case) at least five times.

-Perform at least one activity under a physical limitation. (I tried to get on top of my car with my legs tied together and without the use of my hands... not as easy as you might think)

-Use the camera to create a POV shot from an everyday object (the flower and scissors for me) at least once.

-There must be boy band music. (Hanson)

The footage was shot between Oct 25 and Oct 28, 2007, at the University of South Florida, near the Fine Arts building, and edited in Final Cut Express HD.

As a side note, I tossed the mushroom back on the ground when I was done with it, and a squirrel came over and ate it. A few minutes later it started spazzing out. I don't know if it was the mushroom or not, but I'm glad I didn't lick it. XD Embed this video
