College Overview: Bucknell

Bucknell: Aaaaaaaamazing
Because of the fact that it is literally in the middle of nowhere, it is so unique and special. Students don't leave on the weekends (if you look to do that then don't come!) and there is such a strong community as a result. I visited not expecting to like the school a lot, and ended up falling in love by the end of the tour. My tour guide seemed so genuinely happy and I trusted what she was telling me.

Bucknell: Customize your Experience
Most people's first impressions of Bucknell are based solely on our campus. It's a gorgeous place, with classic architecture and well-cultivated landscaping that is enough to win most people over. What lies underneath the exterior is, in my opinion, equally as beautiful if you're the kind of person willing to be proactive about your education and get involved. Bucknell: For some... but not for others
This school seems to be pretty high end, bordering on Ivy quality. Most people scored very well on standardized tests, have extensive academic backgrounds, as well as diverse extracurricular resumes. It's most certainly on the "preppy"/ conservative side. I'm talking collared shirts, Dockers, daddy's BMW, new shoes and a generally well off undergrad population. Going Greek is almost unavoidable.
