This school is absolutely amazing for job opportunities and getting you hooked up with a great career. Dumb jocks and blonde bimbos need not apply. Parties are okay and there is always Upitt which is just 5 min away but state school kids would not be happy here. Academics. Everything at CMU revolves around academics so if you decide to spend four years of your life here be prepared to study for four years. It seems that there aren't many activities around campus, besides the weak athletic programs, that don't promote academics and studying.
