If you are considering coming to Gordon, make sure that you have the right motives for coming here. And really think carefully about whether or not this is the kind of environment that you are looking to spend four years of your life in because Gordon is so different from other schools, being a Christian school. If you decide that you want to spend your college career in a close-knit, community-oriented, Christian-centered environment, than maybe Gordon is the place for you.

Gordon College: Putting It Together
Relax. Take the time to really enjoy your time at Gordon. When I arrived, I knew what I was there to study, but the majority of your incoming class will change their minds three times before finally picking a major. Just relax. The faculty and staff are there to help you succeed, so take advantage of their guidance. You don't have to make up your mind right away.

Gordon College: Faith + Work
Gordon is a Christian school, so if you're not a Christian, you're not going to appreciate or get as much out of this school and education as a Christian would. With that being said, Christians who come here need just as much self-motivation to pursue their faith. I think a lot of people come here with the notion that being in a Christian community automatically gives them a safety net, and that living righteously will come easier here.
