I truly believe Miami is great all around college experience. Its located in a college town that is run by the students. The academics are solid and challenging, but still leave you time to party and hang out with friends. Its fun becuase everywhere you go, weather to a restarant uptown, a bar, a class, or a sports event, you always know someone there. However, there are always more people to meet! To be honest, Miami was not my first choice in schools. It was actually number 5. However, I didn't get in to my top two (Duke and USAFA) and I couldn't afford 3 or 4 (Johns Hopkins or Notre Dame). Miami is expensive but if you get scholarships or are from in state, it is not too bad. I chose Miami because it is academically stimulating and has a great reputation. So far, I have received a solid and well-rounded base education and I know that I have a great shot at getting into a law school...
