Just to make note of a few things about Oxy. It's a very small school, less than 2000 students. If you don't like small schools, don't even think about going here. The college experience doesn't compare at all as compared to UCLA and USC. Also this school (academically) is hard, VERY HARD. Keep that in mind when considering Oxy. Choose Occidental College if you'd like a small, close-knit campus, with a very politically active and talented student body. Oxy students are very vocal about their opinions, and the newly formed major in "Critical Theory and Social Justice" reflects this. Stay away if you are insensitive about race, sexuality, or class issues.

Don't judge us by our alcohol comsumption, it's just really essential, we truly do need it, we have tried to change it for the better, but we have been thwarted by the administration at almost every attempt, so we take solace in our alcohol, and then they get on our asses about that.
