Oregon State: An average college for average people
I strongly suggest to everyone attending any school, but especially Oregon State to be honest with themselves as to their goals and why they want to go to college. It is very easy to get lost in the crowd, in the social life, and in the academics so you need a strong sense of self in attending any school, especially a medium to large one such as OSU. Oregon State: Greek Life is Big Here!
I think one thing to take into consideration is the fact that there is a large presence of the Greek system at OSU. I personally did not take part in a frat/sorority, but I think that it is a great opportunity to network with fellow students early in your college career. If you can't handle the rain...stay out of the Northwest. It rains 9 months a year and it can wear down even the hardiest of souls.
