I chose Texas Tech because of the west Texas atmosphere. It's a great school. Everyone is nice, and there is always something to do. If you ever thought about becoming an Aggie do not come here, because Tech is the complete opposite of A&M

TTU - Texas Tech: Texas Tech - Something for everyone
At Texas Tech, we have a saying: "Easy to get in, hard to get out." If you don't want to study much, this is not the school for you. But if you think you want to go to graduate school, then Tech is a great place to get your undergraduate degree. The school has over 27,000 students on campus, making it large but not overwhelming. I had visited the University of Texas and Texas A&M, both of which schools have around 50,000 students, and that was way too large for me. If you are from a big city...

TTU - Texas Tech: Why the heck not!
Texas Tech really is an awesome school...unless you want a big city life. The bars are awesome, the campus is awesome, but most of Lubbock sucks. The houses all around the campus are old and shitty; you really have to go 20 minutes from campus to find a good house. The dorms are crappy and old, tuition goes up every year and the fees can get outrageous. But in the end its still cheaper then most schools and Lubbock is easy to get around there's always parties goin down.
