UCLA: Lousy Public University Experience
Lots of possibilties if you can get through the all of the people and survive budget cuts. Be prepared for LARGE classes and LOTS of lousy TA's. NOT worth the money. Another lousy public school.

UCLA: My Greatest Mistake
I chose my school based on its reputation for academic excellence, not to mention the fact that it's smack in the middle of the classiest parts of Los Angeles--Bel Air, Westwood, and the Hollywood Hills. Our rival, USC, can hardly say the same (don't go out at night past the campus gates or a drive-by is sure to ensue). However, if you're a hard partier or someone looking for a beach blonde California hunk, STAY AWAY from UCLA. This is not the place to be to meet the man of your dreams! If you'r...

UCLA: Get a Feel for the Campus!
Visiting the campus is so important. You should get a feel for the campus and determine if you can see yourself there for the four plus years. When I was considering colleges, I visited a few schools that I knew weren't for me. However, when I visited UCLA, I felt right at home. I could see myself being challenged, but could also see that I would still be able to have fun. If you disregard academics and just want to party, this isn't the school for you.
