UMaine: The Real Deal
This school is for the person who wants to have fun, but also get good grades. There are many activities and studies to choose from. I chose this school because I fell in love with the campus. We have lots of beauliful old brick buildings and great landscaping. The winters are cold, lots of snow. If you can't stand snow, sleet, and ice, you shouldn't go here. UMaine: Serious Learners Only
This university is strictly for serious learners. Sports is not the focus here. If you are looking for a serious degree, this is the place to be. But there a number of extracurricular activities on campus to ensure you won't get bored when you're not studying.

UMaine: Super Hot, but Cold as Ice
I love Maine weather, but if you can't stand the cold, step away from the college application. It is gorgeous and there is a lot to do both on and off campus, plus everyone is super friendly and very open, pretty much anything goes. The people here really sold me on University of Maine.
