URI: URI
URI is basically the school that instate students come to to avoid RIC and CCRI. It is the school that out of staters come to because they couldn't get in anywhere else. It is one big hill in little Kingston, RI; which itself is in rural farmland. Car or lots of spending cash will be your lifeline when you first come here because it is so rural. URI: Why the hell not?
I didn't choose URI, URI chose me. With my 1300 SATs (when the SATs were still hard) I was waitlisted at the University of Rhode Island! When you go to URI you'll realize there is no rhyme or reason to anything the adminsitration does. None. If you're serious about your academic career and you don't want to jump through hoops to find out what classes you need to graduate stay far away from URI.

URI: Lot's of people from NJ
A lot of people from New Jersey are here, me being one of them. If you are from New Jersey, specifically the 201 area code, be prepared to endure some tormenting. If you require malls or other establishments to keep yourself entertained, this probably isn't the school for you because it takes about 20 minutes to get anywhere, including Wal Mart.
