Housing varies greatly throughout campus, tour all the different dorms before deciding. If you are introverted or quite, don't come to this school. Also if you are against greek life, haha either don't come or don't be openly opposed to it, b/c you will be hated and get in fights.

If you're thinking about coming to USC, you're either from South Carolina, or want to get the hell out of wherever you're from. There is a big difference between these two types of people. University of South Carolina - Columbia: USC -- An A-OK Place
Choose USC if you want to live somewhere with basic things to do but nothing too special. Other schools have beaches or lakes or whatnot, we have a medium sized city with various normal things to do. It has some great majors, like Journalism and Business. USC is older and thus not 100 percent totally new and technologized, but it does pretty well at keeping up most of the time.
