Hello. I have a 4.0 GPA and got a 1500 on my SAT. I have taken a very challenging course load every year, and I am involved in many extra curricular activities. I also volunteer and work at a local Dairy Queen where I have done very well. However, I do not play sports. What schools, that excel in journalism, do you think I could be accepted to? Columbia, Mizzou, Northwestern, NYU, KU, Ohio University? By the way, I live in Lawrence, KS where KU is located.

I'm assuming that the 1500 is out of 2400. Considering your 4.0 i would imagine you are at the top of your class. I believe that NYU is looking for the more well rounded student and you would get into it. Columbia and Northwestern are highly competitive and they demand those high sat scores.
