You have no chance at UCSD.. This year the UC's are going to be more selective with Out of State students. Your UC GPA is way below the average.. which is 4.05, and your SAT's are very average. I honestly dont think you have any chance at any UC besides UC Riverside or UC Merced..

I think you have a good chance at pretty much most of the UCs, even at SD coz your SAT scores are crazy good. Is your gpa weighted or unweighted? And I think they'll definitely put into consideration the fact that you're international and you're taking AP and have a pretty good EC list :)

hmm....all i can say from these two replies is...
wtf.??
which one should i trust TT

You have great chance at Irvine and Davis. For SD, it's possible...you're still a strong candidate. So, don't give up hope on that. =)

I am from California, I have friends at every UC campus.. UCSD's averages for freshman are a 4.05 GPA, and over a 1900 on the SAT. Maybe you'll get into Irvine or Davis i dont know, those seem more realistic. Good Luck, take into consideration that if you dont get into one of the UC's, there are a lot of feeder community colleges to help you get in after 2 years.

i live in california. my gpa was 3.78 and sat 1880. i got into davis and irvine, but rejected from san diego. you need to bring up your gpa to get san diego, as oop said their average gpa is in the 4.0+ range. but the fact that your an international student may be taken into account. but i think irvine is your best bet... and there are alot of asians at irvine... like 50%.

I don't think you'll be able to get in, considering you are an international student. They typically judge harder on these student. Even my friend with a GPA of 4.7 and and SAT score of 2100 wasn't able to get into Davis or San Diego for some odd reason. Well, she transferred here from Korea in her Senior year.
