Hi guys! Today i received my acceptance letter from Georgia Tech and I am pretty happy about it because i know it is not an easy school to get into. It used to be my dream school (now Ohio State) until i read reviews on Theu and studentsreview and saw how much people hated it. All the reviews said to not go there, your life will be miserable and blah blah. Also all these reviews were coming from guys, and A am sure it may be different for a girl who goes to GT. I think the reason guys hate it so much because there are so many guys there, so theres less girls for them, or w/e.
So my question is, is Georgia tech really that bad!?!?!? because I am actually considering going there. So any one who goes there or went there please help me!!!!
Thanks in advance!

It's for sure better than Ohio State... not in term of foot ball though. haha
- ayax i think u should visit. R kelly made a song about a girl who went there. (dunno if that helps)
- eminem111 academically, it has a much better rep than OSU. but it is in the middle of atlanta, so you have to keep that in mind. i'd def visit before deciding to attend.
- surfcali08 I have visited it and thought the campus was really nice. It is NOT in the middle of Atlanta. Although it is very close to the city, it really seems to have its own campus, and when you are there, you don't feel like you're in the middle of a large city.
- Zach W I live in GA right now. It's funny because at my school all the students want to go to either UGA or GA Tech, but the online reviews of GA Tech are all really negative.
My friends who have been there said the campus is great and the place is full of nerds. And the classes are crazy hard and the professors barely speak English.
- Need2Achieve As a current student I can tell you that you need to expect to work hard, but also schedule time to blow off steam. People sill tell you that it sucks to go to Tech, but it is very fulilling for those that enjoy their major and are able to work hard. Plus the traditions and character of it are fun and lighthearted. Don't listen to people that tell you to saty away becuase the work is hard...they're probably the ones that are failing out anyway. Take it from a third year student that has learned how to cope with the difficulty level - Tech is a great place to be!
