at most state universities to live off campus your freshman year and on campus ur upperclasssmen years?( i really want to avoid freshman dorms)

It is a lot harder to even get dorms when you are an upperclassmen

depends where you go. For instance, at Boston College (although its private), people stay in the dorms, leave for a year, then come back for student apartments. Depending where you go, freshman dorms can be good actually. Most of the time it is hard to get back into the dorms though
