I was wondering where that vast number of students applying to Ivies coming from. Looking at this "resume" I understood that if even this guy applies to Ivies, than my dog should do it as well.
- Viktorious this is a joke btw. I'm trying to make a statement that people are really stupid on this site. I mean if a kid has a 4.0 and does like a million E.C's they shouldn't be asking if they can get into a good school. I'ts just stupid. oh btw That's not even close my real scores. but im not one of those 4.0 students like everyone else on here for some reason... can you guess why everyone has 4.0s on here?
- sam425 Just because you have 4.0, and tons of activities, it's still not sure that you'll be accepted to any of the Ivies. Many students with incredible academics got rejected.
And only those have 4.0 who worked for it. Nobody got it as a gift.
- Viktorious well they seriously make it seem like that when they tell everyone on this site. I'm just sick of it. SO i've decided not to waste my time on this dumb site cuz i dont like gettin mad at stupid kids who think they are better than everyone else
- sam425 To be accepted into an ivy league university you are not required to have a 4.0 or a 2400. Ivy's get so many cookie-cutter applications that they yearn for diversity on their campus. Find something your passionate about and follow it.
I know a lot of kids that got accepted into Princeton and never got a 4.0 in highschool. They found what interested them and procceeded onward- they did something that set them apart from the pack.
Anyways, that's just my input.
- Princeton there are a lot of ppl on this site who want to get ivies, but i'd say 9/10 of them don't think they're better than anyone. they work harder. you can't take that away from them, but they don't think they're better. princeton basically gave every1 the formula right there so go ahead and do that. i agree this site is over used, but i don' feel the need for you do get angry at ppl. just stop using it.
- hopeful2getin I'm sorry Sam, but that's not going to cut it. I got into Yale. I was in the 9% or so that did. You need A LOT more. On the SATs alone you need at least 2300. I got a perfect and just BARELY made it, if they were just judging on my SATs. You need to join some clubs, do some sports, take a part-time job, more community service, GET YOUR GRADES UP!!!!... it'll help A LOT.
Right now I'd say you're chances are 1:51,252 and that's if the number of applicants stays the same... it probably won't, Take my advice. I got IN!!!
- Jades41 Viktorious. I was accepted to all of the ivies and everywhere else I applied, so HA HA!
Sorry Sam, for rubbing it in, but.... nothing!
Exactly as hopeful2getin said... we don't think we're better, at least I don't. We just do better at somethings, but I admit. I got in because of my E.Cs and scores. They didn't care that I was ranked #1 in my class. To them it was like being called a "skanky ****" in your year book. It didn't matter.
