hi, so im a junior. and my counselor came to talk to us about colleges today. so i started lookin at some.

I have a 3.5 UW GPA, and i know that its kind of low, but its comin up this semester and next semester. so far ive had a steady increase in grades. I have a 4.2 Weighted GPA though.
So far ive taken 3 APs, and im taking 3 more right now.
im on the cross country, swimming, and lacrosse teams.
im vp of student government, and right now im organizing a charity event to help homeless people.
im in the spanish and science honors societies.
and im president of the snowboard club.

What colleges should i look at and do i actually have a shot at?
i really like Brown and Duke, but idk if i could get in. what do u think? and what other colleges should i look at?

Depends on your test scores. Your extracurriculars sound really good, but your GPA is, like you said, a little low. So if your SAT was about 2200 you may have a chance at them. What are you interested in majoring in?

brown and duke are completely different, so you may want to rethink one of those. otherwise, you've got great extracurriculars but true, your gpa needs raising. work your butt off junior year because that's the year that counts the most.
You prob haven't taken the SATs yet, but when you do, in order to be considered at Brown and Duke (other than writing a kickass essay), you'd need about a 2150

unless you're a sports recruit. i'd run with that if you can. but Brown and Duke = not the same place at ALL.

also you didnt post your AP test scores. they better be 5's or 4's
