Forum Topic: "Looking for my best fit. UCLA, USC, UVA, UNC Chapel Hill"

Post a new topic
Hi, I'm looking to apply to each of these schools and assuming I get in, which should I go to? Disregarding academics, what makes each best? I'm looking for a school where the people are very friendly, it's easy to meet people like myself, and where there's not a whole lot of pressure to conform. I would prefer one where heavy drinking/hooking up is not really as prominent and where a Christian can be a Christian. Please let me know.
Thanks!

well the good thing is that all of those schools are large, so you will likely find your niche. You just have to be outgoing and look for people with the same interests as you. It would probably be helpful to join clubs, I'm sure there are religious groups and student activity commitees that organize events that do not involve partying. All universities are going to have partying, but it depends on whether or not you decide to participate.
I know UVA has a a lot of greek life, so that might not be your thing.
But remember that wherever you go, you will find a spot to fit in. Make sure you visit the campuses and pick which one feels right for you. All of them are excellent schools. Good Luck!
