Hey just wondering my chances of getting into some the schools I was considering, Im African American who lives in Boston,Ma Im going to be A Sr. with a 3.46 GPA (weighted)and a 3.0(unweighted), Ive taken AP/Honors throughout my high school career I got a 1630 on ma SATs, but im taking them again, i have over 100 hours of community service, I'm on the varsity fball and bball team, and I'm in student government and the president of the Spanish Club. The schools Im considering are..UConn, Howard, University of Massachusetts, UMarlyand, and JMU

the gpa and scores are a little low, but you have a lot of other stuff going for you, and if you get a better score, say 1800+ (that's a jump, but it would be worth it), they would put that together with your aps to conclde that you are a capable student. i don't know much about the other schools sorry.

howard, you'll definitely get into. maybe even UConn & UMass. UMaryland is a reach for you from what i hear. well, good luck!
