Forum Topic: "Sophomore Year"

Post a new topic
Ok, well these are the classes that I took my Freshman year:

Geometry 9
Spanish 1
Honors Biology
English 9
Intermediate Orchestra
World/Tech Connections

Over the summer I took Algebra 2

I got a 4.0 all through Freshman year.

Now here are the classes that I am taking my Sophomore year:

Pre Calculus
Spanish 2
AP Physics B
Honors English
Honors Advanced Orchestra
AP US History

After school I am planning on taking Honors Chamber Orchestra.

I'm kinda nervous about a few classes this year. The classes that I am most nervous about are:

1. AP Physics B. Some people say it's really easy, some people say it's hard. I know that it depends on if your good at math or not and such, but how hard is it really? I'm good at math. This is the class that I am most nervous about and would like to know more about.

2. AP US History. I really don't know that much about it.

So basically I would like to know how hard you think this Sophomore year will be, what's AP Physics B like...?, and what's AP US History like?

I hear AP US isn't bad. All the people I know have passed it. It also depends on your teacher.

Have you taken your geometry class yet. Lots of universities look at having all three math classes(algebra,algebra2, and geometry) nas necessary. alot of great advice I have recieved included taking geometry

Yes, I took geometry in ninth grade.

At my school people usually take AP physics after taking honors physics, maybe try taking honors chem.

AP US history is a breeze. Ap Physics not some much its definetely one of the more if not the most challening AP courses out there.

AP US History is not that bad; however, this is a lot of paperwork though. If your on top of it and do some every night and study every night, you'll be good (trust me, I'm in it right now)

AP Physics = death. but some people are really good at it; so I'm not sure in your case
