What do you guys thing of Tulane University? And can you give me any info on why you think so many students there come from the northeast?

I live in Louisiana, where the weather is hot in the summer, but nice in the winter. I think that is why so many students come to Tulane from the northeast - to escape the cold weather. Other than that, Tulane is what I call the "Yale of the South" - it is very pristigous and hard to get into. Even though it is not in the ivy league, it still has that same type of atmosphere that you would find at Harvard. Even if you want to go to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, or any other ivy league school, I would still recommend giving Tulane a chance - it is a a great school just like Harvard, Yale, Duke, Rice, Vanderbilt, or Stanford, but most of all New Orleans and Louisiana are very fascinating places to live in. Lots of people come from the north and end up staying here. So, give Tulane a chance, it has great programs in a great city.
