Forum Topic: "What are my chances?"

Post a new topic
I know there have been a lot of these types of posts, but I need some input. I'm currently have an overall GPA of 3.6, I'm in the top quarter of my class, I took honors and AP courses since 9th grade, I received a 1830 on SAT and a 30 on the ACT (the score I'm gonna send to the schools). I also volunteer with my religious organization, and I've had a summer job at a restaurant. During the school year, I'm a photographer for the school newspaper. I've been looking at Ohio State University, Northwestern, and Tulane. I know that these schools are competitive to get into, and I'm just worried because I haven't stuck to one extracurricular for several years, which I know schools like to see because it shows commitment and dedication. So do I have a chance with any of these schools? Thanks in advance for any advice!

You're definitely good on Ohio State. Northwestern I would say probably not, and Tulane maybe. Since Katrina Tulane has gotten much easier to get into.
