I have been accepted to Boston College, NYU, Bowdoin, UMass, Babson, and I am waiting results from Cornell and UCLA. I possibly will apply to a couple more schools. I am wondering, where would the best opportunity to go for college. Money is a factor, but all of the schools other than NYU give excellent financial aid. I am not sure exactly what direction i want to head in, but it is most likely in business or politics. Any Help?

well, my first choice would be nyu, but if money is a problem there, then go to either cornell or boston...
- astrikaew Bowdoin :D But seriously, I know someone who goes there and she LOVES it. I visited and I really like it too. It's totally different from NYU, but that's a good school too. I live in a city but my school is small and the three kids from our school that decided to go to NYU all transferred out because they found it really hard to find their niche since the campus is so disconnected and there's no school spirit. Whatever suits your personality though. Those are all great schools!
....so how are you already accepted to all those schools???
- piratemonkey I have also heard great things about Bowdoin. I like NYU but that's because I am a city kid. I want to live in the city.
- cameron BABSON ALL THE WAY!! I have wanted to go there forever! I'm trying to transfer in from the U of MN at the moment. It's an awesome setting with a lot to offer...but only go there if you know business is your path
- teenagetuner Here's my impression of each-
Boston College: Big preppy party
NYU: The hustle, city life, awesome for finance and film
UMass: Another east coast public school with an awesome lacrosse team
Cornell: Ivy league. Period. Why not go there if you got in? A lot of overachievers! Great "outdoorsy" location in upstate NY, and a lot of competitive people. Diverse. Very difficult...some say the hardest of all the ivies
Babson: Small, sweet affluent suburbs near boston. Everyone wants a career in business, and a lot of entrepreneurial spirit! No TA's. Very seasoned faculty, and a diverse student body. Everyone wants to have fun and make a lot of money
Not sure about the others. Does anyone disagree with my stereotypes?
