i want to study an architecture major in america, but can anyone give me any advice to which colleges i should consider. and id like advice to which states have similar weather to london, as id like to feel a little more at home if i get homesick.
unpredictable weather such as, storms in june, cold snowy marches, rain and sun in the same day, also a lot of fog.
thanks

Okay, brit-chick. This is the place Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo.
- cameron pensylvania has a similar weather
can't help u with the colleges u can consider because my major is psycology
- celaine93 I'm sorry cameron, I used to live by Cal-Poly, the weather is really nice, but it has nothing to do with the English weather at all.
- Viktorious THANKS, I WAS QUITE ACTUALLY INTERESTED IN UPENN ANYWAY, BUT ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS?
- brit-chick You should look at colleges in the Northeast. Maybe the Northwest? Try Syracuse University. It's in upstate New York, near Canada in a city called Buffalo. It gets really cold in the winter. It's architechture program supposedly has a good reputation.
- rockthefro Syracuse is not in Buffalo, it is actually in Syracuse and gets probably the same weather as London. Cornell University is basically in the same location and has an excellent architecture program. I am pretty sure the University of Michigan and Illinois both are similar to London weather and I think they both have good architecture programs.
- Zach W cornell gets COLD. just a heads up. it's very rural unlike london as well. it does have a great architecture program though.
- hopeful2getin I think if you go close to the ocean, somewhere in Maine, or New Hampshire, you will have a taste of the English weather.
- Viktorious honestly new york is fairly similar to english weather. except it doesn't snow as much.
- hopeful2getin WHOA, same major?!? UGH. Go to CORNELL. IF you can get in...
